Al Qaabid | Allah Names

Al Qaabid Meaning: “The Restricting One”

Explanation: The Constrictor, the Withholder, the One who constricts nourishment with His knowledge while expanding and widening it with His generosity and mercy.

Occurrence: These names appear in the Prophet’s Sunnah rather than in the Holy Quran.

Evidence: The Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, stated, “Allah is the one who fixes prices, withholds, and gives abundantly.” (Reported by At-Tirmidhee and Abu Daawood)

Benefit: Anyone who writes this name on four pieces of food (fruit, bread, etc.) and consumes them for 40 days will be free of hunger.
